Time to update!

I have been working for the U.S. Forest Service now for about a month and a half. I can’t believe it has been that long already; it seems only yesterday I started-and knew absolutely nothing! LOL. But, I know a little more now than I did when I got started!

I recently bought a new laptop because my old one was about to crash. When I was looking to buy my first laptop computer, I knew nothing about hard drives and processors. So, when I bought my first Dell laptop it only had like 48 gigs of hard drive and the processor was some ancient thing, I believe! Anyway, when I was cleaning it up one day, I noticed I was down to less than 2 gigs of hard drive. I knew if I didn’t do something quick I would be out of a computer, so here I am typing on my brand new Dell Studio 17 with 4 gigs of memory and 320 gigs of hard drive! woohoo!!! Not to mention it has a 17 inch screen so watching movies won’t be a problem at all! I love it! It is so awesome! I must give the credit where credit is due-Thank YOU Father, YOU ROCK!!!!!

I am on the go now friends! I signed up to post updates to my blog from my cell phone! How awesomely cool is that? LOL.

Well, Tim and I got moved into our new townhouse! We are so excited to be OUT of that hotel! I mean, I love a great adventure, but that one lasted a month longer than was comfortable! LOL. But, we survived, and we still love each other, I think! LOL. Just kidding! Of course we do. hehe.

The same night, the very same night, we moved into our home, I got so sick and was in bed for the next two days straight, not even getting up to eat. I had the crud. I had to miss work. I felt so terrible for feeling so terrible because I could not go to work and people were counting on me. However, it all got worked out. Thank the Lord! I am feeling better and stronger every day. So, I go back to work Wednesday. Yay!

I go see my oncologist here in Wyoming (but actually she's in Utah!) for the first time tomorrow morning (Tuesday). I am very excited, and yet a little nervous. I am due (late actually) for my three month check up. Please pray that I am still in remission. Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma is known to return, but I am NOT claiming that one. I am just trusting in Jesus. He is in control anyway.

A Long Day

I don't want to bore y'all with the details of this long day, but it has been a great week and this day has ended well. I don't have time, it's late and I need to go to bed, but I just wanted to post a few lines to let y'all know I am among the living...and will update ya on the new job, new home, our move, etc. on Sunday, so be patient and check back Sunday evening. A Long Day!

I started my new job this week and I am really enjoying it! Today, however, was a really long day. I won't go into the details, but I became frustrated at one point, but it has ended very well. I don't want to spend much time this evening writing much because I need to go to bed. I am still trying to get on this new work schedule and it hasn't really been easy. But, I'm not really doing so bad! I will be able to post some new pics and update everyone on our move, new home, job, etc. on Sunday after church.
